The busiest exhibition centre in Europe and the seventh biggest in the UK, the NEC has been a success story since it was first opened in the 1970s. Every year it hosts signature events, including the Clothes Show Live, the Horse of the Year Show, the British Open Show Jumping Championships and the international dog show, Crufts. It can be easily reached by train, car and even plane.
