Sometimes referred to as a 'Shakespearean retreat', the house is inspired by William Shakespeare's great literary works: there is even a library dedicated to the bard's works, life and times.

All guestrooms include high quality mattresses, white Egyptian cotton bedding, hairdryers, mini bar and quality 'fairtrade' beverages. All rooms have En- suite shower rooms, Fluffy towels, bath robes and toiletries are provided.

The complimentary breakfast menu has a variety of cooked options as well as continental. All the bread is baked locally (less than a mile away) and sliced by the hotel. The eggs are free range and all ingredients are sourced locally from British farms.

Reception opening hours are 7.00am - 11.00pm. After that, the night porter is to hand.
